This acquisition expands ad pepper media’s market position considerably, strengthening its position in premium website ad-sales

Dusseldorf, Nuremberg 27 October, 2005

ad pepper media announces the 100% acquisition of mediasquares GmbH.

mediasquares is one of the leading independent German online advertising sales houses, with an exclusively represented website portfolio containing such well-established brands as sport1.de, map24.de, maximonline.de and kino.de. The total portfolio currently has appr. 20 websites with some 400 million page impressions a month. The young company has positioned itself dynamically and successfully in recent years, producing steep, profitable growth with its high-quality conceptual campaigns and first-class service for both website partners and advertising partners.

The acquisition of mediasquares reinforces ad pepper media’s position in Germany, particularly in the marketing of premium vertical websites.mediasquares will continue to operate under its own name and the existing management structure remains in place. Client service and expansion of the agency business will be given strategic orientation, while mediasquares will enjoy full access to ad pepper media’s products and technology.

The transaction will mainly be in ad pepper media shares, a percentage in cash as well as a component  linked to success in fiscal year 2005. Absolute confidentiality has been agreed on the purchase amount. The German affiliate, ad pepper media GmbH, will be responsible for the acquisition of this profitable company.                                                   

This acquisition represents a consistent expansion ad pepper media’s strategy of offering website partners tailor-made services, products and technology, to maximize their monetization opportunities. ad pepper media’s existing website partners will also benefit from the outstanding expertise of mediasquares’ sales team, particularly in the brandname website  sector. As both companies use the Adsolution adserving platform, from ad pepper media’s associated company Falk eSolutions, technical integration will be seamless, with further positive synergy effects to be expected in the coming months.
